The theme on the book was actually very hard to find. It is not a theme I detected immediatly, so I had to think a little bit about the situations. The theme I found had to do with relating to others. Death says he is starting to feel sad when people die. He got this feelings when he started following Leisel, so that means that learning about other's lifes actually helped him with his feelings. When Leisel´s father was younger and went to war, he has a Jewish friend. They had a strong relathionship, which later help Max (the son of Leisel´s dad's friend). Leisel´s best friend was Rudy, a boy who saved her life many times. Relationships in this book are extremely important, since it is what keeps each other alive in war days.
I really loved the theme! What else can I say? I LOVED THE WHOLE BOOK!

There was really no figurative language detected. The book was written to be very realistic, so there wasn´t really figurative language. What it did had was a lot of foreshadowing and explanantions the narrator gave to you in order to understand. The explaining or foreshadowning was suddenly told, at the middle of the story in a note-like way. I loved it that you couldn't really understand at the moment, but it later told you why and you were thankful to the author for telling you. The story kind of talks about God too. It sometimes thanked to God for a good thing happenin

Most of the importance if the story is happening where it happens and in that moment. The story wouldn´t be the same if it wasn´t in that period of time. Who cares if I take a book that is getting burned? Who cares if I hide a Jew in my basement right now? Life have changed a lot since then. Stealing was a huge crime, even if it was just one book that was never going to be read, or if it was a book that was being burned. Maybe the place could be changed, but it had to be in Europe in the Second World War

The narrator who tells the story is the death. I know it sounds kind of creepy, but in this case, death actually has feelings. The story begins with the narrator going for a young boy's soul. In that moment, he gets interested on the boy's sister, The Book Thief. The narrator had always cared about taking dead people´s sould, and ONLY that, but when he saw the girl (The Book Thief, Leisel), he decided to follow her and take a look at her life. I really love how the narrator gives this effects on the story, because he makes you look at things differently.
While the main events are going on, he takes you to what is happening at the same time, WW2, which makes you feel more interested. As the story goes by, the narrator talks about the characters with more and more feelings. He mentions he is tired of taking souls so much, and he had never felt tird of doing that.
I just LOVE the effects and points of view the narrator gives to you!

I finally started reading The Book thief , I am almost halfway through, and I've really enjoyed it.
The first thing I would like to share about is about the characters. Who are they? And how do they interact? There are a LOT of characters in the story to talk about. The main character is Leisel, a girl whose mom is real poor and needs to give her out to a foster family. She's going with her brother, but he dies in the train. Her foster parents are Hans and
Rosy Hubermann, they have economic difficulties, but not as much as Leisel's real mom. Rosy is mean, she shouts bad words all day long, but she still loves Leisel. Leisel's best friend is Rudy. Hans is against Nazis, even if he should be one. Hans teaches Leisel how to read, since it is all she wants to learn.
There are a lot of things that happen in the story. I really recommend it to everyone.

I was supposed to start reading The Book Thief, but I can´t finish the book of Finale . I am reading it the quicker I can, but it is very difficult to read with all this homework and everything. The book is awsome!!! It is the last book of the Hush, Hush saga. Nora Grey is now a pure blood Nephilim (nephilims are sons or daughters of fallen angels and humans). She is not supposed to be a pure-blood Nephil, but her dad (who WAS a pure-blood nephilim) injected her with Nephilim blood to turn her into an inmortal. He knew he was going to die, so he wants her to lead the Nephilim army against the fallen angels. The problem is... her boyfriend is a fallen angel!!!
That´s why I don´t want to stop reading. I ABSOLUTELY  recommend you this book, one of the best I´ve read.

I am going to read THE BOOK THEIF. I haven't really heard about it, but the librarian Penny told me it was really good. It is kind iof long, but not too much. I think it will going to be a good way to practice my reading in english. All I know, is that it is about a girl who read while WW2 is going on, I hope I actually enjoy it.
